Optex BX-100 PLUS discreet wired infrared barrier

Optex presents a new concept, the Boundary Guard, which offers reliable protection and different security options.

The BX-100 PLUS infrared barrier has been specially designed for immediate perimeter security. In the past, windows and roll-up doors were only secured with magnetic contacts or glass break detectors.

Now Boundary Guard protects the exterior of a building by detecting intruders before they even try to get inside and also acts as a deterrent by sounding a buzzer before the break-in occurs

The BX-100 PLUS infrared barrier includes a visual and audible indicator that eliminates the need for vertical adjustment.

An audible signal facilitates alignment and, if the detector is misaligned, an indicator flashes. Once the detector is aligned, the buzzer is automatically muted, providing a quick and simple alignment process.

One of the added benefits of the audible alarm/alignment indicator is that it can be used as a deterrent for intruders.

This option can be enabled or disabled using a switch inside the detector.
