Thanks to Fibaro's FGR-224 Roller Shutter, any device powered by an electric motor can be controlled remotely. The shutter control module allows precise positioning of the motors with mechanical and electrical limit switch.

In addition, the device allows current monitoring.

With classic switch, app-based or pre-configured scene control, you can make your life more comfortable.

When you leave the house, you close all the windows and shutters at the touch of a button.

The compact radio module is placed in a wall box just behind the normal switch. The switch is no longer directly connected to the load, but serves as an input device for the FIBARO insert controlling the load.

The switch only sends the control signal to the insert, which controls the load again. The solution works with all switch models.

It is recommended to use wall boxes with a depth of 65 mm. But smaller boxes with a depth of only 45 mm can also be used if there is enough space behind the switch. The space available depends on the size of the traditional switch, the dimensions of the wall box, and the amount of additional cabling placed in that box.
