The sensor ZD 2102 is formed of a magnetic component and the main unit. One of the parts is mounted on the moving part of the window or the door. The other part is placed on the frame. The installation can be done with screws or double sided tape.

The sensor ZD 2102 is running on battery power and remain in sleep mode unless an alarm is detected.

After a sleep time programmable device wakes up and sends a status information.

The batteries can be changed without unscrewing the device from the door or frame.The sensor ZD 2102 issues a visual warning and sends a warning to the Z-Wave controller, when batteries need to be replaced.

The sensor ZD 2102 sends information to the controller or any other device Z-Wave partner.

Up to 5 devices can be controlled from the sensor ZD 2102.

The sensor ZD 2102 have two terminals that allow the connection of a dry contact external in parallel with the magnetic contact.
